Test Engineer (f/m)
Stadler Rail is looking for an experienced, talented, and motivated test engineer to design and deliver software and systems. The candidate will work as part of the system and software development team to develop cutting edge safety products for railway signalling applications. The following will be required:
Your tasks
Create test procedures, test cases, and test scenarios and plan their execution on the test track and in the field
Ensure that the design and customer requirements are correctly translated into all test plans and procedures
Identify and select simulators and other test equipment needed to perform testing
Execute System test procedures, record test results, and create test reports including Functional Test Reports, Integration Test Reports, Performance Test Reports (i.e. Robustness, Endurance, and Redundancy), etc., in the factory and in the field
Ensure that factory testing provides full performance coverage to guarantee correct implementation of the functional and safety requirements
Your profile
Master degrees in Engineering (electronic, telecommunication, mechanical) or Scientific Matters
ISTQB (International Software Qualification Testing). Certification preferred
Professional experience in the industry, and experience in testing of complex railway signalling systems is preferred
CBTC prior experience is an asset
Testing experience in systems with SIL 1,2,3,4
Interested in establishing new solution, and applying new technologies and methods
Good command of German and English languages
