Within the Architecture & Digitalization team of Operations & Distribution in Zurich we are looking for a Digital Asset Developer (80-100%).
Your challenge:
Our engineering teams are involved in all aspects of the product lifecycle, from idea generation, design, prototyping, planning, execution and shipping. As a senior software engineer you should lead by example - driving the technical discussions, influencing the approach and making a positive impact on the team's development by advocating the best engineering practices
Collect and define requirements based on a dynamic assessment of functional and non-functional capabilities
Develop formal models of financial business processes and propose innovative improvements to them
Development of an architecture of different applications in the distributed ledger environment
Become a member of our dedicated blockchain team, committed to rapidly developing new products
Optimize existing systems for scalability, extensibility and performance whilst building out reusable, modular code for use across blockchain products
Work within interdisciplinary teams to continually deliver the highest quality software to our users
You pride yourself on consistent high levels of test coverage, strong technical documentation and effective monitoring
Your qualification:
A deep understanding of financial markets and processes; The candidate must understand the strategy of markets as well as its mechanics; Knowing the underlying motivation and impetus for market behaviors will enable the candidate to formulate stronger approaches and solutions
Excellent computer science fundamentals; Command of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns with the ability to fluently translate them into working, elegant code.
Experience of developing Ethereum smart contracts written in Solidity
Experience of test driven development (e.g. Truffle)
Experience of full-stack development (e.g. C#, Go, JavaScript, Node.js, Angular, CSS, SQL)
Experience of working with HSMs and PKI technologies
Experience working in the financial services industry and/or a systems integrator or solutions partner.
