Service Operations Business Process & Systems Specialist

Key performance areas


As the Business Process Specialist, you will be a key project team member supporting the planning and execution of DIT inspections, development and deployment. You will partner with Sales Areas worldwide to provide support with the application of the Digital Inspection Tool (DIT) for inspections including the template creation process, roll out, end user feedback, training and continuous improvements to the process.


Other duties include:



  • Support the Service Operations team with audit process evaluation and improvement including testing of the audit process

  • Assist the Field Service Operations Manager and Inspection Specialist in driving the DIT roll-out in their Sales Areas

  • Document business processes for DIT inspection use

  • Support the development and publishing of business rules and process maps for DIT inspections

  • Quality control of inspection templates

  • Ensure transfer of key inspection/audit information and improvements from the inspection process between regions

  • Provide third level technical system support with fault identification and troubleshooting in the DIT tool


Additionally, the Business Process Specialist will be an excellent communicator with a strong customer service focus and demonstrated initiative. You can work as part of an integrated, broad team and will comply with all aspects of the Sandvik Environment, Health, & Safety policies.


Your profile


The ideal candidate for the Business Process Specialist will have:



  • A technical qualification (degree or diploma) and will have an artisan or trade background

  • Experience with the development of audit/inspection tools and templates

  • Demonstrated ability to understand and interpret equipment manuals and parts lists

  • Heavy Equipment/Mining/Construction Industry experience

  • Project management experience

  • Experience with the Microsoft Office suite of applications and Adobe Pro

  • Experience using IBM Notes

  • Ability to travel both internationally and domestically
