COMMERCIAL PROJECT MANAGER (m/f)


Responsibilities


As a Commercial Project Manager, you will be responsible for the commercial management of projects from the sales phase through to process completion. In the sales and development phase, you will work in close cooperation with the respective project managers. The drafting and annotation of all project-relevant contracts (supply contracts, consortium agreements, contracts with subsidiaries) will be your area of responsibility, as will be your involvement in contract negotiations and the creation of supplementary agreements. You will procure credit insurances with state or private insurers, and check the policies received. You will organise, assess and review payment security (the entire trade finance spectrum).  Together with our experts, you will be actively involved in the clarification of the tax situation at the contractual location, in the foundation and administration of the operating sites as well as in the preparation of their tax returns. You will be the contact person for claims of both customers and suppliers by working in cooperation with the project managers, and the purchasing and legal departments. The review of financial accounting (taking into consideration the VAT), as well as the preparation of project-relevant information to carry out export control/applications for export permits, completes the description of your job profile.


Requirements


The candidates we are looking for—who would suit this very varied and demanding role—should have either a degree in business studies/law or a basic business education with corresponding further professional development, e.g. an export specialist. You would preferably have some years of professional experience in plant engineering with an international orientation The position requires you to have a high degree of flexibility and the ability to prioritise (several projects ongoing at the same time) as well as excellent teamwork and good communication skills. In addition to professional knowledge of MS Office and SAP, fluent business English (both written and verbal) and willingness for international travel (about 10%) are requirements for this function.
