Operations Manager, Switzerland (100%)

Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will be responsible for critical operative tasks including supply chain management. This comprises the organization and execution of all procurement activities, ensuring timely and cost-efficient sourcing of InSphero supplies as well as warehousing. In addition, you will act as line manager for the lab support team, being responsible for the proper maintenance of all lab-infrastructure/equipment, act as contact person for general facility management topics and support QA with product releases. Main reponsibilities

• Management of procurement activities and interface to suppliers (price negotiations, supply security)


• Line management responsibility for the lab support and scullery service team (3 people)


• Management of scullery service, including customer-facing activities


• Support of QA department with product releases


• Supervision of InSphero laboratory infrastructure and equipment, including company alarm-monitoring system


• General facility management

 

Profile

• Biology-related degree (BSc/MSc) or equivalent


• Proven leadership skills


• Proven experience in laboratory management


• Procurement experience in an industry environment


• Quality management experience is a plus


• Life Science Industry experience is a plus


• Independent, proactive and well-organized personality


• Languages: English and German
