Continuous improvement Engineer (m/f)

 


The role is responsible for leading continuous improvement initiatives in order to achieve its business objectives such as manufacturing cost in line with the internal targets and to contribute to a perfect Product Availability and responsiveness of the Plant. The CI (Continuous Improvement) Engineer applies the tools provided by the IL6S program in order to build capability in the department and eliminate the losses. The person has a key role in the Daily Management System to make sure priorities are very clear for everybody in the Section.


 


Your main responsibilities:



  • Deliver clear understanding of the requirements for the CI process necessary to build an environment that delivers against targets and improves safety, quality and service

  • Drive behavioral change across the area of responsibility, including support functions, through coaching and influencing employees

  • Develop a CI road map for the area of responsibility with a short and long term action plan

  • Analyze of data and planning of the key improvements for the critical measures (to eliminate chronic issues)

  • Stabilize the production processes eliminating the recurrence of the sporadic issues

  • Liaise frequently with other functions to build relationship and guarantee the targets achievement designed

  • Be responsible for SWP (standard work process) implementation across the whole plant, including SWP design, roll out planning and training delivery (i.e SPC-Statistical Process Control, SMED, etc.)


Qualifications

 

  • Min. 2-3 years of experience on a similar position

  • University degree in engineering, process technology or food technology

  • Previous experience in manufacturing environment 

  • Basic knowledge of business and engineering processes, policies and procedures (GMP, Quality, SS&E) 

  • Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma will be an asset

  • Solid understanding of manufacturing and supply chain processes 

  • Good communication, motivating and leadership skills with ability to work with highly diversified teams

  • Fluent German and English language skills

  • Strong analytical and project management skills

  • Creativity and a true passion for the continuous improvement
