Business Developer Position


IMVERSE
is
a
startup,
spin-off
from
EPFL,
developing
software
and
providing
services
for
XR
photoreal
content
creators.
Our
volumetric
solutions
are
especially
useful
for
interactive
VR
movies
production,
pre-production
of
Hollywood
movies,
gamified
applications,
virtual
recreation
of
museums
&
historical
locations,
simulation
trainings,
facility
management,
VR
showrooms
for
retail,
real
estate
renovations
&
and
interior/architecture
design,
immersive
telecommunications
and
more.
The
ideal
candidate
is
a
sales
or
business
development
experienced
individual
who
welcomes
the
challenges
of
joining
a
young
computer
graphics
and
virtual
reality
startup.
You
will
in
order:
nurture
relationships
with
existing
customers
and
partners,
push
forward
the
conversion
of
leads
towards
closing
of
deals
and
generate
new
business
opportunities.
You
will
manage
after
sale
and
collect
as
much
feedback
as
possible
while
building
the
B2B
community
in
Europe
and
Switzerland.
You
ideally
have
some
knowledge
of
the
interactive,
creative
and/or
immersive
media
industries
and
have
a
casual/informal
sales
style.
You
will
collaborate
with
the
business
and
development
team
members
in
California
and
the
other
members
of
the
startup
in
Switzerland,
including
marketing
and
online
services.
Responsibilities



  • Responsible for the business development activities in Europe and Switzerland

  • Convert leads towards closing

  • Cultivate strong business relationships with key decision makers

  • Proactively identify new opportunities and deliver innovative solutions to customers

  • Iterate on the value propositions based on client needs

  • Implement market strategies by reaching high potential prospects


Qualifications



  • Speaks English, French and German

  • Bachelor's degree minimum (business, media or computer graphics) or equivalent
    experience in International Business or ICT Startups

  • 1+ years of sales, business development, account management experience or
    similar experience in the VR/Media/Creative industry (plus)

  • Experience in pricing and/or offer design (plus)

  • Ready to undertake regular business trips

  • Excellent written, verbal and face-to-face communication skills

  • Experience with startup environments.

  • Problem solver and hands-on

  • Flexible working times.

  • Working contract time flexible
