Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:



  • Maintain Global Strategic Outsourcing central email In-box, databases, files and spreadsheets including contract tracking, filing systems, status reports, and vendor lists.

  • Maintain the central files and tracking database containing the Vendor contracts and contact information.

  • Prepare and maintain contract documentation files to ensure inspection readiness.

  • Update database with all agreements/contracts/budget information

  • Candidate will also assist in generating agreements, negotiate any requested changes to wording, and coordinate any changes requested in areas of the contract that are critical to Celgene’s interest with direct supervision (including but not limited to Confidentiality Agreements)

  • Compare documents and create redlined version of contracts in Word.

  • Liaise with the appropriate departments including Legal and Finance in support of coordinating role.

  • Provide recommendations and participate in process improvement initiatives within Sourcing and PSRM.

  • Be willing to assist in various other matters as relevant to contract coordination and generation.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.


Skills/Knowledge Required:



  • Basic knowledge of drug development processes, FDA, ICH, GCP regulations and guidelines

  • Basic understanding of contract T&Cs, budgets, finance and financial negotiations

  • High level of competency in computer skills (in all Microsoft Office products)

  • Highly motivated, self-driven and able to consistently meet timelines with quality output with minimal supervision

  • Demonstrated strong and consistent attention to details

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills

  • BA/BS or Associate Degree in a relevant discipline (i.e. business administration)

  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience in a relevant field, and at least 1+ years clinical experience preferably in outsourcing and/or Finance supporting Phase I –IV clinical trial services
