Project Buyer (m/f)

 

Responsibilities

• Bring in procurement and supplier expertise to our development activities


• Ensure consistent milestone planning including cost estimates and timeline to develop comprehensive specifications


• Together with colleagues from engineering and category management, develop contracting strategy


• Leading the RfQ process including RfQ specifications and communication with external partners, supplier selection, negotiations and contracting


• Order, processing and tracking of project relevant material


• Close cooperation and exchange with category managers concerning future strategies


• Vital link between project leaders in engineering and procurement organization


• Responsible for new components, which are coming out of the new projects, in concurrence with the category strategy


• Member of the engineering and business project organization teams

 

We expect

• University degree in technical and/or business fields


• Experience in project procurement in a challenging high-tech environment


• In-depth understanding of relevant tools and processes (target costing, cost modelling, value engineering)


• Advanced project management experience


• Advanced communication and negotiation skills in German and English


• Team oriented person with analytical skills


• Self-driven, open and positive mind-set


• Very good skills in MS Office
