THE IMPACT YOU CAN HAVE

As a member of SonarSource’s scientist team, your mission will be to launch technologies that will radically push our current products forward or even become new products of their own.

ON A DAILY BASIS, YOU WILL

• Bring your own ideas to improve the future of software development


• Collaborate with all SonarSourcers to get inspired and build on top of their dreams


• Share and iterate on the most promising ideas until at least a handful of people are convinced of the potential


• Once ideas are refined, prototype, implement and eventually launch them!


• Build connections within the academic and industry communities

THE SKILLS YOU WILL DEMONSTRATE

• Deep understanding in either Static Code Analysis or Machine Learning applied to code


• Good enough programming skills to bring an idea to life and share it with others (e.g. basic Git usage is a must)


• Excellent communicator


• Break complex subjects into clear and deliverable small tasks


• Leadership: Be comfortable in a mostly flat organization


• A PhD in CS or related field is a plus but not required

SonarSource was started by a team of developers that wanted to change the way code is built in an agile development process. The company was created to develop the open source tool SonarQube, which is now the standard in code quality management with over 85,000 instances deployed today.
