For our site in Zürich, Switzerland we are currently looking to recruit a flexible and experienced TCMS Software Lead Engineer (m/f) for the development of application software for rail vehicles such as locomotives and passenger trains.
In this exciting role, you will be responsible for the set-up, lead and execution of software development and software maintenance projects.
You will be working within a fast paced highly technical environment on challenging interdisciplinary tasks, supported by experienced and motivated colleagues.
Your Tasks
- Project planning in terms of resources, cost, effort, schedule and scope
- Coordination of the all involved internal and external stakeholders
- Assist in the preparation of bids
- Developing solution approaches based on customer needs and preparing the corresponding documentation (e.g. SRS, ICD). Work closely with customers and internal departments to provide best results
- Development and implementation of software for vehicle control, vehicle diagnostics and visualization
- Software commissioning in the laboratory and on the vehicle on-site
- Applying the software development process according to EN50126/28/29 (V-model)
Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical Engineering (M.Sc. / B.Sc.) or equivalent with specialization in software engineering
- Programming skills in C++, graphic languages acc. to IEC/EN 61131, Windows applications, Java, .Net
- Knowledge of Bombardiers legacy control systems is an advantage
- Knowledge in the use of MS Office and other common office tools
- Understanding of the railways business is an advantage
- Languages: German and English on an advanced level, French is an advantage
- Minimum 5 years of experience
