The main purpose of the Supply Chain Operation Process Manager role is to design and implement international supply chain operational processes to achieve best in class and highly competitive global supply chain operations, ensuring on-time delivery of our full product portfolio and complying with all respective international trade laws plus GxP regulations for the compliant flow of Alcon products.
Major Accountabilities:
• Lead the APL SC Hub Business Analyst team and be accountable for the smooth operation of all SC trading flows with no business interruption. Develop associates as experts in the supply chain flows that are acknowledged as super users within APL and APL’s primary trading partners.
• Ensure SC trading task, roles and responsibilities are clearly documented and executed as per defined process in order to achieve operational excellence (support logistics strategy, actively lead and or participate in global projects)
• Provide customer and operational excellence by supporting all projects / product launches / extensions / discontinuations / special promotions / return handlings etc.
• Manage and ensure daily monitoring of open transactions for supply chain in all ERP systems, which includes error message analysis, ticket follow up and fix the issues. Support all stakeholders (Alcon customer service, affiliates, plants, warehouses, 3rd party providers and suppliers) in system related problems and issues
• Ensure all product and trading flows for all trading routes operate smoothly with no business interruption. Work with Regional and Global Trade Compliance to adhere to and administer trading laws where applicable. Work with APL Finance / Compliance to comply with all NFCM controls to full satisfaction. Maintain and ensure testing of current controls, while ensuring segregation of duties
• Lead the APL SC Business Analyst team, to achieve high service levels including reporting requirements and KPI creation/ monitoringMinimum requirementsYour profile:
• Higher Education in Supply Chain or Business Administration with at least 5 -7 years of demonstrated experience for large multi-national organizations in the pharma / healthcare industry
• Fluency in English essential. French and German is a plus
• Ability to drive for results and meet program and project deadlines.
• Excellent analytical skills paired with a proactive and action-oriented attitude in driving projects.
• Familiarity with tools and technologies to process large amounts of data
