Our offer

In Basel and Zurich we are looking for a new Team Manager to extend our management team. You would be direct manager of about 30-40 consultants in the life science area. Also you are a sales professional close to our existing customers and extending the consulting engagements of the consultants or finding new opportunities for them.

Your role

• Define, document, and execute an ongoing strategy to achieve short-term business objectives while planning for long-term growth.


• Business development :
  
  
  
  • Creating new business opportunities by prospecting new customers
  
  
  • Closing offer deals on service-based contracts
  
  
  • Participating and realizing the redaction of offers, reporting, etc.
  
  
  • Supporting in achievement objectives and pro-active development of corrective actions
  
  


• Human resources :
  
  
  
  • Recruiting new talented people to reinforce Altran life science team
  
  
  • Being in charge of the consultant career evolution (annual appraisal, project review, training…)
  
  


• Management & Admin :
  
  
  
  • In charge of life sciences consultant team in Basel or Zürich
  
  
  • Supervising the financial status of your team (DM, GM…)
  
  

Your profile

• 5-7 years of experience in Business Development for business services


• Strong experience in Life Science Industries (Pharma, Med Tech…)


• Previous experience in engineering consulting is a strong advantage


• You show a strong drive for results and want to put your business to acquire and develop clients.


• You know how to work in a team - strong collaborative mindset


• You demonstrate knowledge of pricing practices, selling and negotiating skills


• Languages: German & English fluent, French is a plus
