Electronics/Embedded Systems Programmer (Full-time)

9T Labs is on the forefront of 3d printing high performance materials. Our systems do what was once
thought impossible: building stiff, strong parts out of carbon composites in hours instead of weeks. A big
part of the product’s success depends on the interaction between material processing, structural
simulation, toolpath generation and machine control.
As one of the company’s first employees, you will have the opportunity to directly influence a product
that will soon go to market. With this will come a ton of product responsibility, which we will define
based on your experience and interests. Although we execute fast, we refuse to compromise on quality.
Your job includes:

• Understanding the engineering needs and translating those into electronics and software


• Designing mechatronic systems including microcontrollers, sensors, motors and others


• Developing of and iterating on firmware controlling our printing process

Your core competences:

• Strong engineering background in Computer Science, Electronics or Physics


• Affinity for manufacturing and associated electronics and mechanics


• You speak C/C++


• You thrive in fast-pace, dynamic environments


• You are a team player and responsibility taker


• You find your own way and have a passion for engineering projects

Bonus points:

• Experience in control of 3d printers, CNC mills or other motion systems


• Experience programming in Linux/LinuxRT environment


• Experience with Marlin and/or LinuxCNC


• You are active in 3d printing communities
