1287 - Senior IT Infrastructure Systems Engineer (m/f)
Your tasks:
Consultancy, design, planning, realization and operation of IT Infrastructure platform solutions (main focus server, storage, backup and virtualization)
Support, further development and optimization of the existing Netapp-storage infrastructure
Support, further development and optimization of the existing VMWare-based virtual infrastructure environment and the established disaster recovery processes. Definition of the operational processes to manage the responsible infrastructures effectively.
Design, operation and optimization of the global backup solution based on Netapp - Veeam and VMWare technologies
Design, further development and operation of the corporate-wide data centers
Provide technical expertise for the relevant system transitions, migrations, and consolidations
Planning, implementation, and support of complex IT Projects in a global enterprise environment
Provide international 2nd and 3rd Level Support including on-call Support
Your profile:
Solid Information Technology education including relevant and proven working experiences
In-depth knowledge of Storage technologies, Netapp certifications is a plus
Proven experience in designing backup solutions and data recovery processes
Extensive experiences with Netapp, VMWare and Veeam technologies
Ability to manage projects successfully. Project Management certifications is a plus
Ability to work in global teams and communicate with international team members
High degree of flexibility and entrepreneurial spirit
English language skills desired, German language skills is a plus
Willingness to travel internationally based on a project basis
