Winterthur Gas & Diesel Ltd. is looking for a
Software Embedded Engineer
Responsibilities
Work on the state-of-art marine engine control systems including:
Software platform specification, verification, and troubleshooting and maintenance
Requirements analysis, creation of specifications, documentation
Define software components and architecture according requirements
Develop, perform and document test methods for embedded control systems, focusing on software
Coordinate joint-development activities with partners and suppliers
Communicate with engine experts from other disciplines in R&D organization
Requirements
MSc. Computer Science or equivalent
Proven experience (some years) in
Developing embedded real-time applications
FPGA and modern microcontroller programming
Communication systems and protocols
Desired knowledge
MathWorks/Simulin
Combustion engines (2-strokes)
Systematic approach and problem solving oriented
Good communication and cooperation skills
Pragmatic, flexible and continuous improvement attitude
Ready to travel for (field) testing and commissioning support up to 4 weeks per year
Proficiency in English (German is a plus)
