The positionThe Avaloq Front Platform (AFP) is the basis for various Front applications. This includes our solutions for WebBanking and Mobile Banking as well as Wealth Management.



As a Software Engineer, you will work for the web-banking payment team, utilizing a range of modern technologies, to build and deliver exciting and innovative financial solutions. You will be working with server-side technologies such as J2EE, REST/SOAP Web services and Hibernate, Sprint Boot microservices.

Your Responsibilities

•  


• Analyse requirements in collaboration with clients, product owners and software partners.


• Design and implement microservices using Spring Boot and Hibernate


• Design and implement web services (REST / SOAP) using JEE and Hibernate


• Ensure software quality using appropriate testing methodologies and frameworks.


• Conduct code and design reviews.


• Analyse and enhance the efficiency, stability and scalability of our software.


• Support the maintenance and quality assurance of our software.


• Align with the agile mindset

Professional Requirements

• Academic qualification (university or institute of higher education) in the field of software engineering or similar IT field

• Demonstrated competency in software engineering in the field of web applications


• Experience with JavaEE application servers such as JBoss


• Experience implementing microservices is a plus.


• Experience in the financial industry (especially payments) is an advantage


• In-depth knowlegde in software engineering
