What you achieve

Together with a group of passionate professionals, you create the next generation cloud and hybrid IT managed services at Swisscom. From development to operations, you are ready to break new grounds and work on the cutting edge of IT production. Using the latest technologies and tools, you design, develop and optimize configuration management tools for different cloud infrastructure services on various hyperscaler clouds (e.g. Ansible, Puppet).



You automate wherever possible. For the different cloud platforms, you create and implement automation in an Infrastructure as Code (IaC) setup. To automate infrastructure operations, you develop new processes and technologies using DevOps tools and practices, and you eliminate manual steps in software delivery by designing CI/CD processes. By taking part in insightful architectural discussions, you ensure that our solutions are designed for successful deployment with high levels of security, cost effectiveness and availability.

Why you succeed



  • Coding skills in one or multiple programming and scripting languages (e.g. Java, C#, Python, Bash, Powershell)

  • Experience with configuration management tools (e.g. Puppet, Ansible, Chef) and with building CI/CD toolchains (e.g. Jenkins, GIT) incl. test automation

  • Familiarity with hyperscaler cloud environments and services (e.g. AWS, Azure) and infrastructure virtualization (e.g. Hyper-V, VMware), preferably with a certification

  • Proven track record of designing, building and automating solutions and working with cloud automation tools (e.g. Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation)

  • Hands-on knowledge of RDBMS (e.g. MSSQL, MySQL, MariaDB), strong Linux and Windows system administration skills

  • Knowledge of container technologies (Kubernetes/Openshift, Docker) and ITIL certification are a plus

  • Flexible team player with customer experience at enterprise-level, striving to constantly evolve

  • Very good English, German a plus
