An exciting role for an experienced Team Leader Investment Writing to support our Asset Management business. You will be part of the Asset Management Marketing & Communication team based in Zurich.
In this role you will:
Lead a team of three Investment Writer
Build content for marketing and communication materials across the entire range of investment capabilities and strategies of our businesses (Fixed Income, Equities, Balanced Solutions, Index Solutions and Real Estate)
Articulate key messages through these deliverables, adjusting the tone and complexity to the relevant target group (institutional, retail or financial advisers) and respective channels
Produce presentations and fund profiles for our investment funds as well as generate or edit copy of thought leadership pieces, brochures, folders, reports, newsletters and client mailings
Write impactful content from scratch as well as edit and sharpen existing copy
Work closely with portfolio managers, distribution colleagues and product development specialists in order to deliver high quality copy within the relevant time frame while building a strong network of contacts
Ensure that your investment knowledge is current by attending relevant internal investment team meetings and keeping up to speed with industry news
You Offer
Are you a creative professional, experienced in writing and editing financial texts in English and German? Do you have strong communication skills and are you passionate about the financial industry? Are you able to contribute to the success of our team by using your strong social skills? You are our ideal candidate if you can say “yes” to the following:
You have a university degree or equivalent, preferably in Finance or Economics
You bring at least eight years’ experience as a writer/journalist within Asset Management, Economic or Financial Research, Product Marketing or as a financial analyst
Through your experience you have acquired profound knowledge about financial markets and investment products across various asset classes
You have already had a chance to demonstrate your skills collaborating with various partners across different departments and you enjoy being a part of a dynamic intercultural team
You have proven leadership skills
You are resilient, able to meet our tight deadlines and you feel at ease in contacts with senior management
You have an excellent command of English (preferably a native speaker) and are fluent in German, as these are necessary requirements to be successful in this function. Additional knowledge of French would be a big advantage
