Your area of responsibility



  • Plan and execute the Swiss Life Asset Managers (SLAM) annual IT strategy process for all country and business units in alignment with SLAM business strategy cycle

  • Support the individual SLAM country, business and IT units in IT strategy development

  • Facilitate and advise on the articulation and prioritization of strategic IT initiatives in close collaboration with SLAM's senior business and IT management

  • Establish a strategic project portfolio management discipline to measure and steer SLAM's IT strategy implementation

  • Initiate and manage strategic projects during inception/initiation phase

  • Support the CTO in preparing management committees, workshops and communication measures


Your profile



  • University degree in Information Technology and/or Business Administration

  • At least three years of practical experience in strategy development with financial institution or with a leading consulting company

  • Very good knowledge of the financial services industry (banking, asset management)

  • Passion and knowledge about new technologies (e.g., AI, Blockchain) and the relevant FinTech and PropTech landscape

  • Very good understanding of the regulatory environment for financial institutions

  • Relevant experience in project and project portfolio management

  • Outstanding analytical and conceptual skills as well as structured work habits

  • Entrepreneurial, hands-on, cross-divisional thinker with very good communication skills

  • Quick learner, willing to take on new challenges

  • Diplomatic tact and winning personality

  • Fluent in German and English (spoken and written), French a bonus
