Your area of responsibility

• Develop and drive technology estate towards the SLAM wide target IT architecture


• Establish and chair the SLAM architecture board, which functions as the design authority to ensure an effective, consistent and modern platform architecture


• Establish architecture principles, guidelines and quality standards and promote them consistently thereby driving next-generation application architecture


• Ensure consistent development of software product strategies with the application architects thereby ensuring convergence with SLAM wide IT architecture


• Drive digitalization/innovation ideas through active engagement with SLAM country, business and IT units as well as the relevant FinTech and PropTech eco-system


• Follow industry, technology and market trends in technology, communicate them within the company and make recommendations as to their use


• Manage relationships with internal key stakeholders and decision-makers

Your profile

• University degree in Information Technology or equivalent qualification


• At least 5 years of experience as IT domain / enterprise architect at a financial service company or with a leading consulting firm


• Very good knowledge of Asset Management business and the relevant front-to-back processes; knowledge of real estate business is a plus


• The ideal candidate is a passionate, hands-on technology professional who is able to design and develop prototypes for a defined business problem leveraging state-of-the art technology


• In depth knowledge of modern solution architecture, software product management and with profound understanding of the software development lifecycle as well as IT Operations and how it is affected by architecture decisions


• Very good understanding of the regulatory environment in the insurance and financial industry


• Entrepreneurial, strategic, cross-divisional thinker with very good communication and influencing skills


• Fluent in German and English (spoken and written), French is a plus
