An exciting role, in which you are joining the highly motivated team within Data Management operations of the Swiss Universal Bank
As a Business Analyst, your main responsibilities involve collaborating closely with analysts and Subject Matter Experts from IT and Business based in Zurich and Poland
You support the definition, implementation and maintenance of a front-to-back data governance framework within the division, including outreach strategies and communication channels
You perform Data Lineage at the applications/interfaces or individual field level and collect information about data usage, transformations and models; propose sourcing models together with data providers and consumers
You have a central task in the maintenance of Data Dictionaries and Data Glossaries as well as the Conceptual Data Model
You collect information concerning the existing Data Quality (DQ) issues and controls and subsequently proposing new DQ rules, controls, indicators and remediation actions
You are in charge of the support, monitoring and control execution of the Data Governance processes and report metrics
By establishing documentation and training materials you act as data governance champion and support users with training and daily queries
You Offer
A Bachelor and / or Master degree or equivalent education
You have at least five years work experience within a large global bank or finance sector and worked within an onsite/offshore model
You bring a background in data analytics and/or banking process analysis and have a deep understanding of Financial products and processing
Preferably you already gained knowledge in Data Governance practice and tools (such as Collibra, Rochade) and you bring fundamental knowledge of data concepts such as modelling, glossary and lineage
A Data Governance certificate (ISACA or similar) is desirable
If you already had the chance to gain experience as Requirements Engineer (ISEB qualified), within Business Process Modelling and Notation (BPMN 2.0 or similar) or IT Architectural Frameworks (TOGAF or similar) you have an advantage
With your strong analytical skills and problem solving capabilities
You are able to communicate effectively, work well with others and possess very good presentation skills
You enjoy investigating and are a committed teammate
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, German skills are of advantage
