Zuständigkeiten / Hauptaufgaben

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement low latency and low cost execution strategies using information obtained through various APIs


• Take the lead in building stable backends that consume and expose multiple APIs


• Manage, improve, and extend individual components of a microservices architecture


• Be responsible for managing a proper code base, reasonable test coverage, and an automatic deployment pipeline in a cloud environment

Qualifikationen / Anforderungen

What we are looking for

• University degree in computer science or similar from a renowned university


• Minimum of 3 years of experience building highly performant and stable systems connecting to multiple APIs


• Excellent programming skills in more than one of the following: Java, C++, Python, JavaScript


• Experience in building microservices, managing CI/CD pipelines, and managing disaster recovery


• Knowledge of REST, Websocket, and FIX


• Knowledge of PostgreSQL


• Experience working in a banking environment; programming systems in high frequency and/or low latency trading is a plus


• Language skills: German and/or English professional proficiency


• Eligible to work in Switzerland


• Knowledge of and interest in blockchain technology and/or crypto assets is a plus
