The Business Process and ERP Roadmap is a multi-year program which aims at simplifying, standardizing and automating business processes and defining and developing the related functional ERP and systems roadmaps leveraging SAP’s, industry and available Roche best practices.


In this role as PT Data lead, you are supporting the group wide program and you are a member of the PT team working on the Business process and ERP roadmap area of the program. You are accountable to deliver the transformational change and implement aligned and harmonized end to end processes, systems and related data, as well as enable the necessary organization in PT. The change combines process harmonization, system standardization, increased automation and people change management. Together with the PT Data Business Process Owner (BPO) and IT Architects, you develop the best approach to ensure single data captured at source-systems with simplified and standardized PT data structure/model and data definitions, supporting e.g. increased automation. You contribute to define the most efficient Data Governance at Roche group level, building on the existing Pharma/PT Data Governance model. You report to the PT program lead, while ensuring collaboration with the function and across other workstreams.
 


Your key responsibilities and tasks will include:



  • Partner with Business Process Owners to define “to-be” state and necessary transition phases, as well as future Key Performance Indicators for data management processes

  • Ensure design of lean master data management processes aligned with functional requirements & industry best practices

  • Ensure technology capability supports data standards and processes

  • Act as interface to corporate master data lead to drive multi-functional alignment on data uniformity, accuracy & accountability

  • Partner with Data Governance Office to ensure data standards & policies are defined, documented and adhered to accordingly
     


You will identify, plan and drive necessary pre-projects to enable a smooth solution deployment. You will act as Change agent and help building a culture of “data as a corporate asset”. You will perform risk assessments with the project team for data related topics and formulate contingency plans as appropriate, communicate progress and deviations to partners (PT Lead, Workstream Leads, Head of Supply Chain Data Management, Site Heads, etc.). You will work closely with workstream leads to ensure data requirements are addressed. You will drive prioritization of activities in partnership with PT Lead, Workstream Leads and BPOs. You will ensure a timely identification of data cleansing and migration activities, define a clear plan to address them and ensure timely implementation (assess pre-projects opportunity).


We are looking for the following skills and qualifications:



  • Master degree in technical/pharmaceutical field and proven experience in leadership and multi-functional project management; experience in large scale master data management activities preferred

  • Excellence in global program and project management; experienced in change management

  • Expertise in organization dynamics and culture, ability to gain trust and confidence at all levels in the organization, ability to take clear decisions and gain partners support; experience in defining strategy, working in a large and complex organization, with a strong process improvement mindset

  • Technical knowledge/ understanding of Master Data management and Product Lifecycle management systems, processes, risks and challenges; experience in at least one full cycle ERP implementation

  • Background and understanding in enterprise information management, including master data management (MDM), metadata, reference data and data quality practices; experience in data architecture & data modeling; Implementation experience in at least one of the following is a big plus: SAP MDG, SAP EHS, SAP GTS
     


You are excellent in understanding and optimizing complex Business Processes and you bring strong conceptual skills as well as a solid IT understanding, especially with respect to Business Applications and their integration. You are a team player. You have excellent oral and written communication skills and a track record of working in interdisciplinary teams. You are used to dealing with ambiguity and you are open-minded to standardization, centralization and speed. You are able to translate 10y requirements into design. You bring a deep understanding of SAP MDG deployment options and the ability to acquire any specialized domain knowledge along the way. You know SAP Business Suite and/or SAP S/4 HANA. You have a conceptual understanding of: BRFplus, DRF (Data Replication Framework), SDI (Smart Data Integration), SDQ (Smart Data Quality), IS (Information Steward), HCI (HANA Cloud Integration.
