If you would like to be considered for a similar position in future, then please submit your CV.Job DescriptionThe Product Manager is responsible for defining and implementing country specific commercial (i.e. marketing and sales) strategies for related products, with a strong focus on digital- and multi-channel stakeholder engagement. Commercial strategies should be developed in conjunction with the local cross-functional brand leadership team, aligned with global and regional brand strategy and endorsed by local management. In order to ensure effective implementation of local strategy, the Product Manager is expected to build strong relationships across all relevant stakeholder groups and spend up to 20% of their time in the field.
• Chair the product local cross-functional brand leadership team
• Lead brand strategic planning, including 5 year forecast
• Develop and Implement marketing concepts and operational action plans
• Lead digital and multi-channel stakeholder engagement for the relevant franchise products
• Lead commercial activities and national and international congresses
• Act as primary person responsible for all PR activities surrounding the franchise product portfolio
• Ensure appropriate and timely use of market research and competitor monitoring
• Drive pre-launch and launch preparations where appropriate
• Provide support to logistics in forecasting the products
• Maintain good contacts with external stakeholders including various associations and wholesalers
• Maintain strong collaboration and exchange with Sales force
• Ensure promotional activities are in line with internal SOPs and Code of Conduct guidelines
• Manage commercial brand budgetsMinimum requirements• A bachelor degree (master preferred) in a related field such as Marketing, Business, or Life Sciences
• A minimum of 3-4 years of product marketing experience, ideally in the pharmaceutical industry
• Sales experience or management desirable
• Near native level of German and fluency in English, French is a strong asset
• Proven ability to work across multiple communication channels
• Strong project management skills
