Visual Designer

Glattbrugg (Switzerland)

Do you possess a proven record of setting up a visual appearance of digital products, are experienced in design systems and eager to join aviation industry? If so, apply today to become a member of our growing designers team located across Zurich and Gdansk!

In this role you will build a new visual design for our products and continuously improve their quality by addressing the needs of our users, capturing our brand and forming a supreme visual identity. You will collaborate with designers, developers and business stakeholders to define and evolve our applications and create a design system. You will shape our products, set the current aviation standard and initiate relevant changes. Performing improvement iterations and user tests (both qualitative and quantitative) as well as keeping up with industry standards and regulatory compliance is part of this process and your role.

Your profile

 

• BSc/MSc degree in design, human-computer interaction, or other relevant field, or a combination of relevant education and experience providing equivalent knowledge


• Experience with building and defining unified identities for digital product portfolios


• Expert knowledge and application of visual design demonstrated in your portfolio


• Experience with design system


• Proficiency in Sketch, inVision and other prototyping software (Framer, Axure etc.)


• Understanding of the connection between design and development


• Ability to immerse into a corporate identity and apply its guidelines in your work


• Strong communication and negotiation skills


• Passion and patience in explaining human-centric design principles to internal stakeholders and customers


• Ability to handle multiple and conflicting priorities and to synthesize requirements from different stakeholders


• Keen to work in all design process aspects and flexibility to take on additional responsibilities when needed


• Eager to explore and champion new ideas


• Ability to make decisions under uncertainty and ambiguity


• Motivation to keep learning and keep up with industry and UX trends


• Strong English skills (written and spoken)


• Willingness to travel (up to 10%)
