Sandvik Mining and Rock Technology (SMRT) is a leading supplier of equipment, tools, services, support and technical solutions for the mining and construction industry, and our operations and organizations are spread around the globe. For our largest, and still growing, Business Unit (BU) Stationary Crushing and Screening, we are now looking for an HR professional who enjoys being hands on operational, in a position that includes strategic elements and cross functional projects. In this position, you report to HR Business Partner BU Stationary Crushing and Screening and you are an active member of our Production Units’ Management team. The location is Svedala, about 20 minutes’ drive from Malmö.


Your mission – Ensuring HR operations that meet our business’ needs
Here you are entering a truly broad role, taking lead in operational HR activities and working closely with our managers and employees to provide consultative and functioning support within your range of expertise. You are highly engaged in areas such as employer branding, performance management, salary reviews, negotiations and policies and legislations. You contribute in our work related to quality and environment, and from a strategic perspective, you take part in a variety of HR processes and activities to ensure that the organization attracts, develops and retains employees with the aim to achieve current and future business objectives. In addition, you develop and maintain excellent partnerships with our many stakeholders, especially the union representatives, and you are involved in the work connected to HR communication and employee relations.

Your character – A multi-facetted HR talent with an eagerness to learn
We are looking for someone with at least three years’ experience of acting in a wide-ranging role within HR - probably as an HR Generalist - and with a degree in a related field. You know the challenges of working in a multi-cultural matrix organization and have a proven track record of successful change management. You also have a knack for process management and improvements, and show genuine business acumen and project management skills, along with customer service orientation. We are based in Svedala, but operate internationally and therefore, you must be fluent in English and Swedish, both written and spoken.


Your character is important to us, and we see great value in your high level of integrity and your interest and the ability to lead and motivate people. You are structured and exceptionally good at planning and prioritizing your work and you are able to develop and adapt in a changing business environment. With a mature mindset, you are as comfortable acting on the shop floor, as you are engaging with senior management, and you like trying new things out and search for learnings in the mistakes you make. Using a great set of communication skills, you maintain strong relations with colleagues and outside partners at all levels. Furthermore, you act on both short-term and long-term objectives, set ambitious targets, delivers on promise and follow through.
