Main duties

• Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test cases


• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities


• Design, develop and execute manual and automated UI and API tests using open source tools


• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved


• Liaise with internal teams to identify system requirements


• Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts


• Collaborate with Program Test Management in E2E testing activities


• On-call duties

Your profile

• Degree in Computer Science or a similar field


• ISTQB Foundation Level Certification is a must


• Min. 5-7 years' experience in as a QA Engineer with proven Manual Testing and Automation of Web Applications experience


• Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test cases


• Solid understanding of automation frameworks : Junit, JBehave, Cucumber


• In-depth knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes


• Experience in Java and JavaScript is a plus


• DevOps knowledge is a plus (i.e. scripting, Docker, OpenShift)


• Familiar with Agile software development methodologies - SAFe is a plus


• Strong work-ethic, able to work independently, with the ability to prioritize tasks


• Communicative team-player, able to coordinate, steer, and make decisions


• Fluent in German and English
