Apply now!PrintThe Solution Architect (SA) position is part of a global team that supports Pharma Global Product Strategy. The role of the Architect is to work with our business groups and BSMs to understand the business processes and information needs to identify and design solution options that support the business needs. The Architect works toward consistency within and across groups and drives for reuse and simplicity.
Your primary responsibilities are:
Take ownership on solutions and lead the technical teams on its development.
Developing and maintaining a roadmap that is aligned with the business strategies and takes into consideration the technology trends
Ensuring that IT Solutions are strategically consistent, fit for purpose, and comply with all relevant IT and business standards as well as governing the integration of all solutions
Creating, designing and reviewing solution architecture documents at high quality standards
Researching new technologies to optimize the current solutions and to make them sustainable for the future, applying in-house standards and market best practices
Be able to develop prototypes to showcase possible use cases and be able to explain the solution to stakeholders.
Being accountable in providing architecture oversight for all business applications within the GPS IT portfolio and ensuring the business strategies and priorities are supported by the right solutions and components.
Acting as a liaison between Enterprise Architecture , FPP Architecture Council and GPS IT and representing the project/s through the Architecture Review process.
For this position, you bring the following qualification:
You have a Bachelor's degree in CS, MIS, Life Sciences, Business with 5-8 years of experience in multiple areas of business domain and technology in a multicultural and international environment.
Experience of the pharmaceutical industry, specifically in Global Product Strategy solutions is an asset.
Experience with Enterprise class solutions
Experience in agile methodologies
Knowledge and experience on Artificial Intelligence and Advance analyticsfield is a plus
Programming skills (any language) are a plus
Highly analytical and conceptual mindset and business needs focused approach to add value to the organization and to customers
Influencing and skillful negotiation skills
Clear and right-leveled communication skills (written and verbal in English, other languages are plus)
