The Laboratory Technician will be part of a multidisciplinary, highly collaborative team, working on an ocular gene therapy project. Your position
Your main tasks include:
cell culture (primary/iPSCs), organoids
cellular and molecular biological experiments
cellular imaging technologies
data analysis
general laboratory maintenance
Your profile
The successful candidate ideally has a training as Laboratory Technician or holds a bachelor/masters degree in Life Science or a related discipline. Proficiency in cell and molecular biology techniques is a prerequisite. Working experience with in vitro human iPSC-models / organoids and AAV viral transduction would be an asset.
Excellent communication/writing skills in English and good computer skills are of advantage. Candidates should be flexible, willing to work at different locations within Basel. We offer you
