  • You to be part of our Corporate Development team focused on driving key strategic initiatives and the M&A strategy of Credit Suisse Group

  • You the opportunity to gain practical experience managing non-organic growth initiatives and executing M&A transactions as principal

  • You to work on financial analysis and company / business valuations

  • You to support with the identification and / or assessment of acquisition / divestiture opportunities and prepare investment proposals / memos

  • You the opportunity to help shape the long-term strategic direction of the Group and focus on solving cross-divisional problems with direct ownership of key modules, and actively participate in problem solving sessions with senior management

  • You as part of a project team to proactively identify issues and suggest alternative solutions or approaches to strategic questions raised by our businesses

  • You the opportunity to gain international exposure as part of our globally staffed project teams


 


You Offer

 

  • A completed master's degree from a university with demonstrated outstanding academic performance

  • Ideally 1-2 years of relevant experience within management consulting/M&A/corporate finance. Minimum relevant internships within management consulting/M&A/corporate finance

  • Affinity to financial services industry and knowledge of financial services industry fundamentals

  • A desire to work in a high-energy environment with a dedicated commitment to excellence

  • An ability to work as a team player and proactively create value for the team

  • Ability to learn new concepts quickly and to work under time pressure

  • Highly motivated and proactive attitude

  • You present high level of analytical skills and you are accurate with a high attention to details

  • You have strong communication and interpersonal skills combined with multi-tasking and time management abilities which allows you to quickly gain trust and build up solid working relationships when collaborating with senior management

  • You are a dedicated problem solver with a positive, empathetic personality and can-do attitude who loves to handle multiple challenging priorities and assignments

  • Very good working knowledge of MS Office (in particular Excel and Powerpoint)

  • Fluency in English. German is not required, but would be an add-on
