• Collaborate with Regional and Country Pharma Organisations (CPOs) Medical departments and Global cross-functional colleagues to develop and implement the medical strategy in Global Medical Affairs (GMA) Plans and in Integrated Product Strategy (IPS).

• Ensure local studies are aligned with IPS and meet quality and compliance criteria.

• Capture and report on therapeutic and product specific insights (including patient journeys); identify and implement actions for the Global Medical Affairs team.

• Provide medical scientific input to Global Medical Affairs Team to enable: the effective planning, execution and reporting of studies; development of related documents, presentation materials and stakeholder engagement activities; on-going review of clinical study data, analysis and interpretation in collaboration with the Brand Safety Leader and Global Clinical and Brand Team members.

• Collaborate with GBMD to deliver medical communication, education and information.

• Guide local execution of brand-specific (field) medical strategies, including advocacy assessment, stakeholder engagement plans, KPIs and tracking of compound/product specific KPIs.

• Develop and execute Global Medical Expert Engagement Plans in collaboration with other global functions.

• Collaborate with Global Brand Medical Director (GBMD) to ensure compliance of promotional and non-promotional global materials, Medical Affairs activities and input into brand safety related activities.

• Be the disease area scientific and medical expert contact point for internal and external stakeholders.

• Contribute to cross-functional launch preparation, execution and tracking by aligning (field) medical strategies to support successful launches.

• Deputize for GBMD in Global Clinical and Brand Teams and internal decision boards as the Medical Affairs spokesperson.

• Collaborate with Field Medical Excellence Heads to identify medical, scientific and therapeutic training needs for MSLs/MAs in CPOs and with the Head of Learning Excellence to develop and deliver training.

• Participate in on-boarding, training and mentoring activities that contribute to talent and career development of GMA and Development colleagues.Minimum requirementsEducation:

• MD, with either board certificate in pulmonology (or allergology), or with pharmaceutical experience in asthma or allergy. OR PhD with unique knowledge for successful clinical program development and execution, with ≥ 6 years of clinical research experience required.



Language:

• Fluent English (Oral and Written)



Skills & Experience:

• Medical and/or scientific expertise within a disease area required, preferably Respiratory

• Proven ability to interpret, discuss and represent efficacy and safety data relating to the assigned area

• Proven ability to work both independently or in a cross-functional team setting, including a matrix environment

• Demonstrated ability to establish strong scientific partnership with key investigators in assigned TA
