YOUR ROLE


This is a great opportunity to join a young and fast-growing company in Zurich, and work on one
of the important security challenges globally. Over the past years Arktis has developed next
generation systems that detect and identify radioactive and nuclear materials.


We are looking for a skilled Office Manager to undertake a variety of day-to-day office tasks. You
will be an integral part in ensuring that our office operations run smoothly and are successful in
supporting other business activities. The goal is to ensure that office operations are efficient and
add maximum value to the organization.


The position will be based at Arktis offices in Zurich.


YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Assistant to the management and the board of directors

  • Post and mail processing, ensuring telephone accessibility

  • Order processing, shipping and export

  • Sales administration and invoicing

  • Support accounts receivable and accounts payable

  • Visitor care, internal and external communication

  • Personnel administration and HR support

  • Collaboration in recruitment and personnel development

  • Collaboration in communication and marketing incl. preparation of conferences

  • Collaboration in organization of corporate events and care of the corporate culture


EXPERTISE & QUALIFICATIONS



  • Proven experience as an Office Manager or Administrative Assistant

  • Commercial education or higher

  • Contributes to a positive team spirit

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, business fluent in German

  • Knowledge of office administrator responsibilities, systems and procedures

  • Proficiency in MS Office

  • Excellent time management skills and hands-on mentality

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize work

  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

  • A creative mind with an ability to implement improvements
