Structured Gas Trader (f/m)

For our Gas Portfolio team, we are looking for a highly motivated, team oriented and communicative person with place of work in Olten.
 

Your function

• Trade all the open positions (location spreads, time spreads and outright exposures) in the Gas Portfolio over the full trading horizon, with the aim to maximise its value


• Support the development, structuring and origination of non-standard deals offered to market participants and originators based on portfolio needs in Europe, aiming to further expand the portfolio in new products, countries, hubs, etc.


• Manage flow and synergies with Origination and sales desks. Drive to further improve processes at the desk.
   

Your profile

• Master’s degree in Mathematics, Economics or similar


• 3-5 years of European gas trading experience


• Expert in trading continental Europe and CESEE gas hubs


• Strong understanding of value drivers of structured contracts


• Strong understanding of fundamental price drivers of European gas markets


• Understanding of fundamental drivers of LNG


• Strong team player accustomed to working in international teams


• Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional language skills is an advantage.


• Previous exposure to CESEE gas markets, LNG and/ or European power trading is a plus.
