We are seeking a

SENIOR R&D ELECTROMAGNETISM ENGINEER

For DC products to switch and protect medium electrical circuits
for the railway and renewable energy industries
Your mission:

• In charge of design, development and validation of components for DC medium voltage
  electro-mechanical products for the safety, protection and reliability of railway industries
  and renewable energy industries


• Develop products from initial concept feasibility studies, finite element analysis,
  prototyping, validation through to certification and product launch


• Manage product improvements and existing product maintenance

Your profile:

• PhD or MSc in the field of micro-technics, electro-mechanical or electrical (power
  electronics, power engineering) with strong mechanical skills


• Minimum 10 years successful experience as a designer for electromagnetic devices,
  experience within the railway / power distribution industries is welcome


• Good knowledge of 3D CAD (Solidworks), Finite element analysis, Matlab and design for
  manufacturing


• Fluent in English and medium in French (sufficient basic knowledge with the ambition to
  learn more)


• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team, accurate and precise


• Cost and risk sensitivity
