PHP Developer

Job-description

As a member of our e-commerce development team you will implement, customize and improve our e-commerce solutions.
The position involves both front-end and back-end tasks from the development of custom modules in Magento to the integration of responsive and accessible layouts based on the design and functional specifications given by our customers.
You will also provide support to our brands and markets, gather their needs, propose solutions and implement the technical developments in a timely manner. You can be contacted after office hours for emergencies.
 
Your responsibilities

• Implement, customize and maintain e-commerce solutions for brands and countries


• Develop custom modules and configuration on Magento


• Implement responsive and accessible designs based on the specifications given by our customers


• Provide support to our brands in their daily e-commerce activities


• Gather specifications and provide with time estimates


• Coordinate, implement, test and document application upgrades or patches


• Identifies issues and seek out opportunities for performances optimizations

Your profile

• Bachelor degree or equivalent in Computer Science


• Expertise in PHP development


• Experience with CMS like Drupal 7 or 8, Joomla, Prestashop, Wordpress (Magento is a plus)


• Expertise in web related technologies (HTML, CSS, Javascript, jQuery, JSON, XML, responsive layouts, GIT)


• Familiar with database concepts (MySQL),


• Knowledge of basic system's configuration and optimization (Apache, Redis, Varnish)


• Autonomy and strong communication skills are welcome.


• Strong interest in learning Magento and other e-commerce related technologies


• Fluent in English, French appreciated.

Professional requirements
