Product Manager for X-Ray Components (f/m)

The division Industrial X-Ray Modules (IXM) is global market leader in the development and manufacture of industrial x-ray sources, and related modules, for the non-destructive examination of materials, thickness measurement, food inspection and security.
Role description :
Defines a vision for our products, establishes product and services roadmaps
Develops and nurtures excellent client relationships in collaboration with sales
Is the primary customer contact point for technical matters
Supports customers to build their requirements
Contributes to financial modelling and proposes target prices for new products
Builds and maintains documentation repository
Technical documentation
Training documentation
Marketing documentation
Competitive analysis
Financial and marketing trends: customers, usage, competition, overall trends, markets
Is the primary interface between sales and R&D
Coordinates product roadmap with R&D
Is sparring partner to R&D and Production Engineering in order to shorten time to market and improve product quality
Is an active contributor to the Change Management process (impact analysis during production engineering definition and after product launch)
For this exciting and versatile position you bring the following skills:
Engineering or Physics degree with experience in Product Management
Basic Financial skills in order to contribute to financial modelling of product or a service
At least 4 years of technical experience in Product Management or Technical Presales, R&D, Customer service or Production Engineering in the area of industrial X-rays
Very good German and English skills – spoken and written
Advanced Technical Degree, MBA or Marketing Management Degree be of advantage
