We Offer
A challenging and interesting role as a Senior Legal Counsel in the General Counsel, International Wealth Management division in Zürich with responsibility for transaction management and fund structuring for the Asset Management and Investment Solutions & Products businesses
You have the opportunity to advise on new products and new business initiatives, individual transactions and supervisory and governance structures with a focus on private equity and real estate transactions and structures
Deal negotiation and involvement in respect of all legal aspects of investment transactions undertaken by Credit Suisse managed funds and mandates in an international environment
Drafting and negotiation of the relevant agreements primarily under common law jurisdiction and coordination of local and international law firms
Advising on the legal and governance framework for the business units within a FINMA regulated environment and exposure to regulatory regimes of other jurisdictions
Responsibility for the legal risk management with respect to the products, business transactions, business conduct, and coordination of local and international law firms
A role closely and directly interacting with legal and business senior management

You Offer
International degree in Law
Minimum of 6 years of experience in the asset management industry or in a law firm with an asset management focus in an international environment
Experience in a common law jurisdiction preferred
Sound knowledge of the scope and concept of the current legal and regulatory developments concerning the asset management industry
Strong analytical and problem-solving ability as well as excellent drafting and negotiation skills
Adaptable and can-do attitude and effective communication skills
Structured, dedicated way of working, motivated to initiate and drive projects and matters forward to resolution, able to work autonomously yet being a collaborative colleague
Fluency in English with the ability to draft and negotiate contracts in English language essential. Knowledge of German is an advantage
