  • A challenging and interesting role as a Senior Legal Counsel in the General Counsel, International Wealth Management division in Zürich with responsibility for transaction management and fund structuring for the Asset Management and Investment Solutions & Products businesses

  • You have the opportunity to advise on new products and new business initiatives, individual transactions and supervisory and governance structures with a focus on private equity and real estate transactions and structures

  • Deal negotiation and involvement in respect of all legal aspects of investment transactions undertaken by Credit Suisse managed funds and mandates in an international environment

  • Drafting and negotiation of the relevant agreements primarily under common law jurisdiction and coordination of local and international law firms

  • Advising on the legal and governance framework for the business units within a FINMA regulated environment and exposure to regulatory regimes of other jurisdictions

  • Responsibility for the legal risk management with respect to the products, business transactions, business conduct, and coordination of local and international law firms

  • A role closely and directly interacting with legal and business senior management

  • An exciting challenge within a highly motivated team in a dynamic and evolving environment


 


You Offer

 

  • International degree in Law

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in the asset management industry or in a law firm with an asset management focus in an international environment

  • Experience in a common law jurisdiction preferred

  • Sound knowledge of the scope and concept of the current legal and regulatory developments concerning the asset management industry

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability as well as excellent drafting and negotiation skills

  • Adaptable and can-do attitude and effective communication skills

  • Structured, dedicated way of working, motivated to initiate and drive projects and matters forward to resolution, able to work autonomously yet being a collaborative colleague

  • Fluency in English with the ability to draft and negotiate contracts in English language essential. Knowledge of German is an advantage
