Junior Telecom Engineer

In order to strengthen our signalling engineering team in Bern we are seeking a

Junior Telecom Engineer – (m/f) 100%
to join us immediately or by agreement

Your main tasks
In this engineering position, you will be responsible for the following areas:

• Operation and development of Comfone’s IPX signalling services and roaming systems.


• Implementation of signalling services for new customers, incl. planning, provisioning,
  documentation, testing and technical support.


• Troubleshooting and resolving worldwide technical incidents using advanced tools


• Contribute to the 2nd level on-call duty service

Your ideal profile

• University degree in telecommunications, systems of communications or equivalent


• Strong interest in IP networks and telecommunication protocols. Experience with signalling
  protocols such as Diameter, SIP, SIGTRAN is a plus


• Dynamic, communicative and reliable personality that thrives in an international environment with
  exposure to many different cultures


• Good knowledge of the English language (written and oral). Any additional languages are a plus


• The position is open to Swiss and EU nationals, and to holders of a valid Swiss work permit. The
  position is based in Bern, Switzerland.

This position is suited to newly graduated or junior engineers.
