Role purpose
You will serve as a member of the Compensation and Benefits Center of Expertise contributing to the development of the executive compensation and long term incentive plans strategy, policies and processes and support in driving the development, implementation and communication of executive programs.
Accountabilities
Support to develop and implement clear operating frameworks (policies, process, governance and KPI's) for executive compensation and global incentive programs to support the strategy, driving harmonization and simplification and ensuring compliance
Support preparation of Syngenta Executive Team (SET), Compensation Committee and Board meeting materials and presentations
Analyze and review annual executive compensation processes, support the preparation of compensation report, preparation of management transaction notifications and preparation of formal responses to external inquiries
Work closely with external consultants an HR Services to ensure long-term incentive policies are supported by robust, compliant and efficient administration processes
Support to develop and implement an effective communications strategy and education program to raise awareness and develop knowledge amongst HR Business Partners, Line Managers and employees
Proactively monitor external and internal markets to identify trends and best practices in executive compensation and long-term incentive programs
Participate in special projects and analysis
Support development and implementation of policies, processes and governance within HQ and Switzerland in line with Syngenta’s governance structure, local legislation and external benchmark
Support business imperatives by providing expert advice and counseling to Swiss HRBPs in all aspects of reward, such as base salary management, job evaluation and benchmarking
Provide reward education and communication within Switzerland to raise awareness and develop knowledge amongst HRBPs. Represent C&B CoE in the monthly HR Business Partner meetings
Qualifications
Experience and knowledge required
Minimum of 10 years overall experience with 5 years’ experience working with Compensation & Benefits
Experience in a complex, international, multi-business environment
Project management experience and working with global teams across matrix
Bachelors or Master’s Degree, preferably in economic or social sciences
Understanding of global Reward philosophy, its elements, tools and metrics
Excellent Excel and Power Point skills
Fluency in English is required and preference additional German command
