Application Support Analyst

The successful candidate will join the Business Application Support Team and is responsible for supporting internal
business users, analyse reported problems both on business and technical levels and work with internal IT teams to
provide a resolution in an efficient and timely manner

In deta ils, the positin encompasses duties and Together with:
responsibilities as follows:

• The ability to listen, simplify and articulate the exact problem

reported by the business user

• Analysing system related problems and gaps and Strong analytical skills both technically and on the business side
  specifying new business requirements
  Working with IT teams through the Solid interpersonal skills in order to communicate and negotiate
  implementation and testing process with all levels of the business and IT


• Developing reports for business department in Delivery and customer focused; taking ownership for reported
  cooperation with IT issues efficiently with a high quality


• Representing the business department in IT
  projects We look for candidates:


• Training of business users on main systems

Requires knowledge of: Education on degree level (or equivalent) with at least 3 years of
working experience in a similar trading or financial environment

• Supporting business application end-users Fluid in English written and spoken


• Strong SQL knowledge Self-driven and with the right sense of urgency


• Software testing and Quality Assurance in UAT Willing to go the extra mile in supporting end-users
  and pre-production environments


• Business analysis methodologies …. advantage will be given if candidate has:


• IT development technologies and processes
  (SDLC) Use of ITIL processes and tools


• Knowledge of document databases e.g. MongoDB


• Broad knowledge of the commodity trading & traffic, finance or
  accounting business sectors
