Rate 100% The Nestlé Product Technology Centre Beverage in Orbe is the leading Nestlé Coffee and Beverages Competence Centre that develops products and production processes for in-home and out-of-home consumption. The product category departments consists of units in Konolfingen, Marysville, Orbe and Singapore and provide new products and processes to all Nestlé markets worldwide. To complete our Coffee department team based in Orbe, we are currently looking for a R&D Product Specialist Black Cup Coffee. Your main responsibilities will be to lead strategic projects sponsored by R&D and Business Strategic meetings in alignment with Nestlé Continuous Excellence (NCE). Key responsibilities
Deliver product/process with defined quality at agreed time and cost
Develop and maintain activity plan in collaboration with the Senior RD Specialist and/or Project manager and ensure timely delivery of deliverables under scope of responsibility
Anticipate issues and test process optimizations for existing technologies in pilot plant
To interact proactively with the other functions, especially the business lead and operations to ensure the overall project objectives
Enhance the interaction and collaboration between the various specialists - within the local R&D site, across R&D units and with the other functional teams (Technical Competence Unit, Site, Quality etc)
Education and experience
Master and/or PhD degree in Food Technology/Engineering, Chemical Engineering or similar
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Operations, Factory, R&D and/or Corporate Functions
Demonstrated the courage and ability to take decisions and solve problems
Proven communication skills (presents confidently and convincingly to steering committees)
Experience in NPDI/I2L process
Knowledge & passion about Coffee Beverages
Experience in people management (incl. development of project management skills) is a plus
PMI certification for PMP or equivalent is a plus
Fluent in English, any additional languages would be a plus
