HRIS Specialist - Permanent


Position based in Clarens

As a HRIS Specialist, your assignments will include the following tasks:


Process & Support



  • Update and maintain HRIS data within various systems. Ensure timely and accurate processing of all employee transactions by monitoring automated systems through review of transactions for data accuracy and integrity.

  • Be the point of contact and assist HRBP/HR officers regarding data maintenance in the current HR systems.

  • Liaise with either the local IT team or any providers to solve technical issues.

  • Audit on a monthly basis international and local database to maintain accurate HR data and address any changes needed.

  • Responsible for global data integrity; develop tools and audit processes to ensure accurate and timely data.

  • Prepare and train others on standard operating procedures and system functionality to ensure operational excellence.


Reporting & Security



  • In collaboration with business stakeholders, create and maintain HRIS reports, procedures, and processes through audits, analysis, and data validations.

  • Collaborate with business owners for educational and governmental reporting on data protection, IT audit and compliance.

  • Conduct audits in all areas of HR data including security, data protection, compensation, etc.


HRIS Projects



  • Active member in current and future projects related to HRIS; any other ad-hoc projects assigned to the department.

  • Assist in HRIS projects, including create project plans, meet with business owners, participate in testing, and troubleshooting any testing system issues with IS departments.

  • Support HRIS upgrades, patches, new releases and other technical projects as assigned.

  • Recommend innovative customer solutions for solving internal and external HR system issues, problems and enhancements and customizations, while still advocating use of best practice.


Desired Skills and Experience



  • Bachelor’s Degree: Human Resources or Information System.

  • HR processes & core business, IT, financial and payroll backgrounds are welcome.

  • 2 – 3 years for HRIS technical or HR analyst experience in a similar HR position with a proven track record in a multinational and matrix organization



  • Innovative analytical and diagnostic skills, knowledge of database structures and HR business procedures.

  • Ability to manage competing deadlines.

  • Demonstrate ability to complete assignments in a systematic and timely way and the ability to safeguard highly confidential information.

  • Experience cleansing data for analysis and providing feedback for system and process improvement

  • Customer support skills as well as written and oral communication skills.

  • Intermediate level of Excel, PowerPoint, Word

  • Attention to detail and ability to problem solve is essential.

  • Skill in development and documentation of operating and administrative procedures.

  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Very good knowledge of French and English (spoken and written).

  • Excellent team spirit, strong customer focus, enthusiastic, positive and can-do attitude, self-motivated
