What's the role?


Improve the production and supply costs of a key product portfolio by optimizing the end to end supply chain performance through value stream mapping.


Start date is flexible to the student's availability, duration for at least 6 months.

What does the role involve?


As intern in our department you’ll be part of
the global BU Supply team, responsible for global purchasing, global forecast, end to end inventories across the whole supply chain and service levels to Market organizations. You’ll work closely with our experts to map and optimize the end to end value stream of a key product portfolio.


Your key responsibilities will be support the Global Materials Managers in daily business in and the value stream mapping of a key product group, identifying improvement potential and implementing creative solutions to reduce production and supply cost while improving availability and flexibility throughout the Supply chain. Secondly support our Global Materials Managers daily business in Business Unit diamond.

What you need is:



  • MSc Student in Industrial Engineering, Business or similiar

  • Excellent analytical skills and tools including Excel visual basic

  • Passion for creative tasks and high motivation to implement out-of-the box ideas

  • Strong communication skills, with excellent English and interpersonal skills

  • Energy, courage and sharp thinking
