Your role:

An exciting new opportunity has arisen to join us as Quality Control Support and Project Manager for our plant in Aubonne.

As Quality Control Support and Project Manager, you lead the day-to-day activities of the team to ensure that they are performed in accordance with the cGMPs, regulatory requirements and company standards.

You are responsible to lead complex analytical biochemistry/chemistry investigations and problem solving. You provide scientific expertise in all our analytical methods improvements and in new technologies deployment. You also lead department-wide projects, in collaboration with internal experts and/or across sites in Europe. You will collaborate with our global center of excellence for quality control in Italy to carry out life cycle management of analytical methods.

In coordination with production, supply chain and quality assurance you ensure the sampling of utilities, incoming goods and manufactured products. You also ensure successful implementation of new equipement and technical transfert of analytical methods for current and new molecules, in collaboration with technical services and the analytical center of expertise .

You report to the plant Head of Quality Control and you are part of a plant-wide Quality Managers team that drives Quality and Compliance activities to success with a passion for improving the life of patients.

Your Profile:

• University degree in Biochemistry/Chemistry: Masters or PhD


• 10 years experience in development and validation of analytical methods, ideally in a Biopharma QC lab


• Technical expertise in protein characterization and ELISA, IEF, SDS-Page, CE, Glycan and Peptide testing, HPLC, GC and wet chemistry.


• Knowledge of statistical analysis ex: ANOVA etc...


• Demonstrated track records in complex problem solving


• Experience as supervisor/manager


• Good team player


• Experience in Operational excellence is a plus


• French and English speaking, Italian is a plus
