  • You a dynamic position as Client Service Advisor within our International Loans and Ship Finance team in Basel where you contribute in an international working environment with motivated and experienced specialists

  • The key aim of this role is the administrative management of a loan portfolio in the ship finance segment including its monitoring with reference to risk-related issues including collection of required documentation

  • You perform Due Diligence in respect of credit, KYC, AML and reputational aspects as part of the onboarding process of new clients and periodic reviews of the existing ones

  • By reviewing a variety of loan documentation on commercial aspects you collaborate with clients and lawyers

  • You take over the responsibility for credit operations, loan closings and drawdowns; and support the preparation of credit applications for the attention of the credit decision authority as well as periodically evaluating existing loans

  • Taking care of checking and documenting regulatory requirements

  • A University degree or Banking apprenticeship with further education such as FH; major in business administration or law is a plus

  • Experience in the international (asset) finance segment is an advantage

  • You possess strong analytic skills in combination with a great eye for detail and a distinctive flair for numbers

  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft applications, proficiency in Excel

  • Being a person with a high sense of responsibility and ownership, you show high perception and interpersonal skills as well as discretion and affinity to client contact

  • You need superb communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey information as clearly and effectively as possible

  • You'll be able to build trusting and positive relationships with a wide range of colleagues and to create a network with senior business partners

  • Fluency in English and German, other languages are an advantage
