In addition, we provide technical assistance to our factories around the world. The Nutrition Science & Technology Department is part of the Nestlé Product Technology Center Nutrition. Job Summary In this position, you are responsible for the development of innovative concepts by applying protein science and (dairy) processing technology. You will apply, build and maintain knowledge and expertise in protein science & technology, and keep up with developments in allied research fields. Key responsibilities
Apply scientific concepts for the performance improvement of ingredients, processes and products for nutritional products of relevance for Nestlé
Design, plan and execute laboratory experiments in the field of food science, food chemistry (proteins, emulsions, carbohydrates and enzymes) supporting Product Development and Knowledge building projects for the Nutrition business (Infant formulae & GUM) and for Health Science as needed
Contribute to project work, e.g. through scientific advice, required analyses and technical assistance to Factories and Product Development
Collaborate with other R&D units within Nestlé and with academic and industrial partners
Communicate results in reports and presentations
Integrate and coach collaborators (e.g. lab technicians, apprentices, diploma students)
Required profile
PhD or Master Degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Material Science, Engineering (or related discipline)
A minimum of 4 years of experience in a relevant area, such as dairy fractionation processes
Fluent in English
