Why we are recruitingThe Forum continues to develop world-leading digital collaboration platforms, including its dynamic system of strategic and contextual intelligence, Transformation Maps, to help surface, augment and benefit from the collective knowledge and insight generated by the Forum’s network of expert communities. To support this, the Strategic Intelligence team is looking for a smart, energetic and imaginative Specialist who will leverage insight, knowledge and analysis generated by or related to the Forum’s expert communities and events, making use of all relevant channels and tools. The Specialist will also be responsible for a portfolio of Transformation Maps, ensuring that content is dynamic, up-to-date and rich in data, representing the latest thought leadership. The Specialist will also take on other projects and responsibilities as needed within the strategic framework governing the work of the Strategic Intelligence team, including, but not limited to, responsibilities leading up to, during and following Forum events. 
Reporting lines and interactions This position will report to the Head of Content and Partnerships in the Strategic Intelligence team. The Strategic Intelligence team manages the world’s foremost knowledge networks, including the Global Future Councils, the Expert Network and the Global University Leaders Forum, and supports their work to enhance strategic decision-making and shape global, regional and industry agendas. 
Main responsibilities• Oversee the curation of thought leadership, covering global, regional and industry transformations• Explore and highlight interlinkages between these global, regional and industry transformations, using Forum communities and events to capture emerging trends at the macro level and suggest ideas/methods for further exploration• Work with Forum teams and external experts in academia, think tanks, government and industry to capture knowledge and insight from Forum communities and events; review and approve content generated by community experts• Conduct research and analysis to identify key trends and their implications for industry and society, and their applicability to Forum communities• Curate cutting-edge online content to provide an in-depth perspective on latest developments• Ensure cooperation with internal and external partners, building strong relationships based on trust and professionalism• Help coordinate project and milestone planning 
The successful candidate will be assessed on• Working with internal and external stakeholders to contribute to the Forum’s pioneering strategic intelligence platforms• Taking responsibility for the planning and delivery of specific projects• Conducting research on topics relevant to the Forum’s approach to strategic intelligence in alignment with overall content and technical development objectives• Supporting, when necessary, all aspects of the team’s work• The ability to juggle competing priorities, with shifting parameters, to deliver to the highest standards and to agreed deadlines 
Preferred requirements and experienceThe ideal candidate will have a broad set of skills and interests including:• Master’s degree (or equivalent), ideally in economics, journalism, communication, or international affairs• 1-6 years’ work experience in business, strategy consulting, journalism, academia, international organizations, project management; experience in the private or not-for-profit sectors is welcome• Broad intellectual background with a strong interest in and understanding of relevant issues (global affairs, technology and innovation, regional or industry agendas)• Strategic thinking with ability to identify trends and patterns of transformation• Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to work with leading experts and practitioners• Team player and self-starter who enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment• Excellent written, digital and verbal communication skills with fluency in English• Ability to communicate complex information succinctly both in writing and verbally
