Insurance. The relocation platform launched In May 2014 and has since organized more
than 15’000 moves. MOVU offers its clients a relaxed moving experience, whilst bringing
transparency to the Swiss relocation market. The young company has already
established itself as the most well-known and largest relocation platform in
Switzerland with more than 5’000 service requests per month.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a unique individual as

Head of Business Intelligence

In your new role, you will:

• Be responsible for data integration, ETL processes, the DWH, dashboards and
  reporting


• Pay meticulous attention to data quality and reliability


• Provide accurate and insightful data analyses for different teams and explain and
  interpret your findings to them


• You will work closely with different stakeholders to implement first-rate reporting
  solutions and develop expert knowledge into our many business processes


• You will have the opportunity to use state-of-the-art Business Intelligence
  tools to generate insights

What we need from you:

• You have completed your studies in IT, natural sciences or a similar field


• You have relevant working experience in the fields of business intelligence or
  data science


• You have experience in ETL processes, DWHs, data models, dashboards and
  reports


• You like to work with Open Source (Linux, Bash, Python, Jenkins, MySQL,
  Postgres) but you also value commercial solutions (Tableau)


• You love to integrate new data sources; you have experience with related tools
  (Pentaho or Talend) and data sources (APIs, Mandrill, Google Analytics, etc.)


• You document the core concepts of your found solutions (Wiki/Confluence), and
  you keep your scripts and programming under version control (Git)


• You acquired knowledge in Web Analytic tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and know
  how to analyze the data


• You like to communicate, work in a team and have a hands-on mentality


• You have very good English skills
