System Manager IT Infrastructure Operations

The PositionIn this position, you will be part of our IT team which provides services for the whole Avaloq Group mainly for the standard work environment within the company. You can expect a demanding and complex international environment, which is highly stimulating and encouraging.

You will operate in the Infrastructure and end user Client area including support around the Global WAN, Campus LAN and WiFi. Furthremore you can learn to operate a modern SDWAN solution. Your team has been recently reformed and is planned to grow.

The international growth of the company demands your structured approach and a professional approach towards operating and supporting our IT infrastructure. As a committed team player, you will support the maturity of our IT and enable global collaboration.

Your responsibilities• Operate and maintain our infrastructure and Operating Systems, providing services to all users including software developers

• Understand the end user performance of applications used on local and cloud infrastructure

• Support and troubleshoot in a branch office landscape around HPE Aruba network and WiFi solutions, Firewalls, Internet Proxies and a very modern SDWAN solution

• Help keep our infrastructure updated and secure. Being part of hardware, software, release updates across branch offices and the central infrastructure

• Implement new solution

• Use and maintain technical documentation in your working area

Education• Successfully completed education in the IT area 

Professional Requirements• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German or English, good communication skills in the other language

• Good knowledge of Windows Server/Client operating system, knowledge of Linux

• A good understanding of networking protocols, service publishing and network security topics

• Well-developed analysis and troubleshooting knowledge

• Good knowledge in the IT infrastructure area

• Analytical and system-oriented thinking
